Deli Clerk

Nisqually Markets, LLC is seeking a Deli Clerk for our Frederickson location. Nisqually Markets, LLC is a subsidiary of the Nisqually Board of Economic Development which operates retail gasoline and convenience stores in Thurston and Pierce Counties. We are growing rapidly with the much-anticipated opening of several new stores. If you are a proven team leader, with experience in merchandising, inventory control and P&L responsibility we are looking for you!

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing premier customer service
  • Maintaining high standards for product freshness and sanitation
  • Selecting and packaging products ordered by customers
  • Filling, maintaining and rotating products and displays
  • Preparing special orders and other deli items
  • Operating meat and cheese slicers, oven, fryer, microwave, cutting tools, scale and other Deli equipment
  • Assisting in other duties, as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • food preparation experience
  • able to work well with others as a team member
  • able to deliver friendly, courteous, prompt customer service
  • able to read, write and perform simple math problems
  • able to interpret, understand and follow instructions and solve problems

 

 

Compensation:

$13.00 per hour

Gas Attendant

Location Frederickson, Lakewood, and Yelm Highway

Nisqually Markets, LLC is seeking a Gas Attendant for our Frederickson location. Nisqually Markets, LLC is a subsidiary of the Nisqually Board of Economic Development which operates retail gasoline and convenience stores in Thurston and Pierce Counties. We are growing rapidly with the much-anticipated opening of several new stores. If you are a proven team leader, with experience in merchandising, inventory control and P&L responsibility we are looking for you!

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Customer service skills – welcome all guests to our Market with a professional demeanor
  • Run enthusiastically to every car and offer to pump gas
  • Run into store to make change or get merchandise for transactions at the gas pumps
  • Inform customers of special inside store
  • Provide regular feedback to management regarding customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in maintaining a preventative loss plan.
  • Maintain compliance to all safety rules, laws, and regulations.
  • Maintain the physical appearance and cleanliness of the store and outdoor area of the property.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Availability – from 7am to 7pm
  • Must be able to pass a retail math test
  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, be able to stand, walk and run for long periods of time, climb and balance on a ladder, stoop and bend.
  • Must be able to pass nationwide background check and **drug screen prior to employment.

 

Compensation:

$13.00 per hour with the possibility of earning tips.

Cashier

Location Frederickson, Lakewood, Yelm Highway, and Lacey
Compensation $13.00/Hour
Qualifications

Nisqually Markets, LLC is seeking a Cashier. Nisqually Markets, LLC is a subsidiary of the Nisqually Board of Economic Development which operates retail gasoline and convenience stores in Thurston and Pierce Counties. We are growing rapidly with the much-anticipated opening of several new stores. If you are a proven team leader, with experience in merchandising, inventory control and P&L responsibility we are looking for you!

 

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • 6 months prior cashiering experience with accuracy handling cash, POS sales equipment and balancing register at shift end
  • Exceptional customer service
  • Prepare routine shift reports
  • Maintain cleanliness of the store and property

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High School diploma or equivalent is preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret documents
  • Available to work 10pm -6am as the store is open 24 hours -Monday – Friday
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs, be on your feet for long periods; climb a ladder; bend and stoop
  • Pass a background and drug screen prior to employment
  • Complete all training within a 30-day probationary period

 

Compensation:

  • $13.00/ hour
